Men's Groups in Greater Vancouver

DO YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'RE CARRYING EVERYTHING ON YOUR OWN, WITH NO ONE TO TALK TO?

Real conversation, real connection, united community

A facilitated group for men who want meaningful conversation, stronger connections with other men, and a place to talk openly about life, relationships, work, purpose, and whatever they're carrying.

It's hard to find places where men can really talk

This is more common than you think. Many men are used to:

Having people around them but still feeling disconnected

Friendships that rarely move beyond work, sports, activities, or surface-level conversation

Going through a relationship, family, career, or personal challenge largely on their own

Wanting to talk about something but not knowing who to talk to

Keeping emotions and difficult experiences inside

YOU DON'T HAVE TO FIGURE EVERYTHING OUT ON YOUR OWN

Sometimes what men need isn't another answer. They need somewhere they can talk honestly about what's happening in their lives, and other men willing to listen.

Men need spaces where they can be honest without feeling like they need to perform, fix something, have the right answer, or tell themselves it's okay to suffer. As an ICF-certified coach with extensive professional and life experience, I’m here to support the group and create the space for meaningful conversation.

I help participants explore what's going on underneath their experiences, say things they may have been holding onto, and introduce coaching when it can help deepen the conversation.

I facilitate the group. You create the community. We do it together.

A different kind of conversation

Men's group sessions provide room for men to talk about what's happening in their lives.

Being part of the experience is simple:

  • Conversation. Talk honestly about what's happening in your life

  • Connection. Show up authentically and be yourself

  • Perspective. Hear how other men experience challenges that may be similar to your own

  • Accountability. Have people remember what you said — and ask you about it again

At appropriate moments, I'll help slow the conversation down, ask questions, offer observations, and help the group explore what's being discussed to see what else is going on.

Groups start with something as simple 'what are you feeling?'. We have more in common than we think when it comes to relationships, marriage and divorce, fatherhood and family, friendship, and work and career. When was the last time you openly talked about identity, confidence, purpose and direction, or loneliness? Men's groups provide a comfortable space for these conversations.

Getting started is simple

It's easy to join us for a session:

  • Find a Group

Choose a date and time that works for you

  • Come As You Are

You don't need to prepare anything or have something specific you need to work on

  • Become Part of the Conversation

Listen, share, connect, and participate at your own pace

You won't be pressured to disclose something you aren't ready to discuss. Some men join to listen and be in the presence of others who are experiencing similar struggles. Others want feedback and help with accountability. You talk on your time, it's your choice.

LIFE GETS HEAVY WHEN WE CARRY TOO MUCH OF IT ALONE

It’s easy for men to gradually become isolated. Friendships become less frequent, conversations turn functional, and everyone is busy with some combination of work, family, relationships, and other responsibilities. Difficult experiences come with all of it, and men often carry those quietly as part of a gradual slide into stress and silence.

You can have a full life on paper and still realize you don’t have many people you can genuinely talk to. Men’s groups are designed to interrupt that pattern.

Being part of the men's group is about becoming more grounded and connected, not emerging as a radically transformed person. You'll leave a weekly group with stronger friendships, greater comfort expressing what you're feeling, different perspectives on your struggles, a shift in self-awareness, and accountability for the changes you want to make.

Ultimately, you'll feel being known by other men rather than only being around them. Get in a group and get seen.

Is this group for me?

This group is for you if you want more meaningful friendships with other men and want to become more comfortable talking about what you're experiencing. You'll hear perspectives different than your own, talk when you want to, and get support with accountability if that's important to you. If you simply want more connection in life you'll find that in these men's groups.

You don't need to be struggling to join.

FAQs

You don't have to do life on your own

Meaningful connection doesn't usually happen by accident. It happens when people make the time to show up, listen, talk honestly, and allow themselves to be known.
